Why we love our neighborhood
The doorbell rang & our neighbor asked if we wanted to come over bc they'd made a "water blob" ...turns out to be a paint drop-cloth with taped sides & filled with water - perfect for a hot day!

Spectrum Camp Extravaganza
Kids have had a fabulous time doing tons of amazing art work at camp, from print making and paper mache to tie dying their shirts and clay critter creations.
Warrior pose
Yoga demo
Girls secretly choreographed their own rendition of Taylor Swift's Bad Blood
Surrounded
It is not unusual to find that Joni has surrounded herself with literally dozens of horses and princesses in bed.
Joni's sweet self-congratulatory note
Joni had a brief almost-choking incident this past week that
scared her. A couple nights later at dinner, she became very afraid to eat, and
did not want to swallow her food for fear she would choke. Slowly but surely, she worked her way through
her meal, and after her ‘exposure therapy’ session, proudly wrote herself a
note:
Dear Joni,
I was scared to swallow. I love how you eat because I’m not afraid anymore.

Happy 4th of July!
Taking the red, white & blue to the extreme...
Morning pancakes and manicures
Very fun old-fashioned 4th at the Frontier Culture Museum in Staunton
Girls' favorite part was getting a lesson in the 1-room school house. They had to curtsy for the headmaster before showing their answers on slates.
