Am I a terrible dog owner that I elected to grab the camera
before removing this dog toy that Coco managed to get stuck around her mouth?

Checking out Triple C Camp
The girls had a great time visiting the camp they’ll be
attending this summer. The camp has an amazing nature center with tons of
animals – snakes, hissing cockroaches, a leopard gecko and other lizards, turtles
and tortoises, bunnies, horses…
Bowling Party for the Center for Open Science
Most entertaining part of the party involved Joni
accidentally being served soda (I think Mountain Dew) for the first time. We have told the kids that soda is an “adult
drink,” so they have never tried it, and thus have minimal exposure to caffeine
& quite that level of liquid sugar.
The attendant at the bowling alley put a pitcher down and said it was
juice (we thought it was lemonade), so we poured a big glass for Joni. Joni thought this juice was fantastic, and
then became insanely hyper, literally running/hopping/skipping/jumping/crawling
back and forth across the length of the bowling alley about 50 times. It was like watching a kid on speed (or what
I assume a kid on speed would look like; we’ve also told our kids that speed is
an “adult treat”). Needless to say, now
she wants to go bowling again.

Celebrating all things green! Happy St. Patrick’s Day 2014
The leprechauns left a scavenger hunt for the girls
overnight.
Here they’re discovering clue
#10 to find the pot of gold.
(Yes, as mentioned before, she is the world’s
most tolerant puppy!)
Keeping with the green theme, the kids put on a production
of Green Eggs and Ham, complete with the key disgusting prop!
Warning, it has a long intro because Haven opted to read aloud all of the script notes, including the list of 50 words contained in the book.

Congratulations to Jen and Robert!
Tate was born on March 7, and we were thrilled to meet the adorable little guy the next day!

Haven gives Lily a beautiful “Elsa” braid (from
Frozen).

Lots of drama!
Mom: How about a ham &
cheese sandwich in your lunch so you don’t always have peanut butter.
Joni (with great earnestness):
Yeah, I don’t want peanut butter. (Tearing up…) Peanut butter even makes me
gulp! (30 second pause) What does
gulp mean anyways?
