Putting up the Christmas Tree

We decided to put the tree up early this year since we'll be travelling during a lot of December...

Joni's 'Xmas Tree Song' (it's an original!) starts off in a calm lullaby mode, but has an exciting second verse!

VA Safari Park

 An unbelievable drive-thru Safari where the animals are not shy! They come up to your window to eat, and clearly let you know they’re hungry.  Llamas, camels, emu, antelope, deer, bison, ostrich, elk, zebra and many more animals!

Sometimes the animals decided you weren't driving anywhere for a while!

Belle's Tea Party Comes to Life

Haven decided she wanted to recreate the cover of her book, Belle’s Tea Party.  We ‘made’ each of the dishes on the cover out of bread, watermelon, and mounds of icing.
