Astronomy meets catwalk

Haven & Joni have been learning about the planets, and decided to bring the solar system to life in a fashion show/concert...apparently Neptune has a little attitude.

Girls loved picking all the veggies, and called the smaller carrots “Norea carrots” 

(Norea is Ann & Zach’s baby).

Great art class at a local gallery

The kids participated in a discussion in the gallery about differences between a drawing of a horse by Picasso and another artist's drawings of a horse, and then went outside for a lesson about how to draw their live model, "Belle."

 Joni had some help with  outlining the horse, but otherwise they did these on their own.

Welcome Goldie and Lala to the family!

After much begging (and a long wait to earn enough "responsibility points"), Haven and Joni got their first pets. In case the aquarium and the name "Goldie" didn't provide enough clues, the girls are doing their best goldfish impressions.
